hello, i m sue ,26 year old female .i had urine and blood test, found albumin- trace, puscells: 8-10 puscells /HPF, 1-2 RBC's/HPF,epithelial cels -occasional, bacteria- present ,blood widal: salmonella Typhi "o"- positive 1:80 dilution, salmonella Typhi"H"- positive 1:80 dilution.Please tel me the actual problem occured . thanks
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows: 1. Pus cells indicate urinary tract infection. Bacteria is also present. You need to get treated for urinary tract infection 2. Widal dilution is less than 1:160 indicating negative. Followup after one week, if rising indicates typhoid. At present widal test is negative. 3. Actual problem at present is urinary tract infection. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
