Suggest Treatment For Presence Of Blood In Urine.
I was diagnosed with a UTI (bladder infection) 2 days ago. I started an antibiotic and pain med for it. now symptoms of pain in lower back has almost went away and discomfort while voiding has stopped, but now I have frank red blood present when I urinate or wipe. Should I go back to doctor?

I understand your concerns about the red blood present in your urine. If i was your personal doctor,who gave you the treatment,i would say to not worry about this symptom. One of the common symptoms of the UTI is the presence of blood in urine. Since your pain and discomfort are treated right now,it means that the medication is working.
I would suggest you drink a lot of fluids,and if possible some natural antiseptic tea like chamomile or Horsetail and Dandelion Tea.
Start the fluids as soon as possible and get back to me in 2 or 3 days.
