Suggest Treatment For Rashes And Blisters On Nose And Cheek

My daughter who s 16 just got back from Cabo yesterday. She began getting a rash yesterday. It s much worse today. She put 70 SPF neutrogena in her face the whole time so she didn t get burned. She s fair. She has a rash on her nose that is blisters. It covers almost half her nose. She has a crescent shaped rash on her cheek. She has a small one on her forehead. She says they hurt. Any ideas? I just gave her 2 benadryls. It s not shingles because it s on different sides of her face. Thank you!!! Heather

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably your daughter has developed contact dermatitis.
It is an allergic reaction.
Your description suggests that her allergy is severe.
Benadryl is an antihistamine and might not be sufficient if used alone.
She needs treatment with oral and topical steroids.
Meet a dermatologist and discuss.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thanks
