Hello,

Diagnosis of disease does not confirm yet, seven-day fever can occur in typhoid fever, urine infection, etcetera so needs to repeat some blood test as complete blood count (CBC), Widal, blood culture, urine culture. After the test report, we will find the diagnosis, treat accordingly. Calpol is a safe medication, can be used for weeks in dosage prescribed by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regard,
Dr. Sachin Kumar Agarwal
