Hi, last year my doctor did laparascopy for Chocolate Cyst Ovary. after 2 months, again some cysts were occurred. then it got cleared with tablets. my doctor told, endometrium is looks good. so we can go for IUI. hence, we went for IUI on 5th and 6th May. it is nearly 30 days after IUI. still the urine tests are showing not pregnant. last week we went to doctor for scanning. she suggested to take another tablet for 5 days and asked to stop that tablet and progesterone tablet. 2 days before, my wife stopped the tablets. can we still hope and wait for positive result with this IUI
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. I would like to know what medication was prescribed. The results of IUI depend on the timing, proper ovulation, the progressive motility, the collection of the specimen before the injection and so on. It is not a 100 percent success giving procedure, and like all other treatments. You may have to try a few more cycles and tubal patency is vital to achieve positive result, in view of the history of chocolate cysts. If pregnancy has occurred, positive results should be obtained by 5 weeks in urine and 3 weeks in blood. Hope this helps.
