Hi,

I am sorry for the situation your son is facing. As long as doctors prescribed diof syrup and milk of magnesia, this makes me think that your son was having diarrhea problems.

If I was your caring doctor would go deeper and run further tests to determine the right cause: examination of stool for ova/parasites and culture of stool for pathological bacteria/candida and abdominal ultrasound.

Meanwhile, I advise to:
- consume more fluids (water mixed with ORS) to avoid dehydration
- take OTC pain killers to get headache relief
- take probiotics (e.g. lactobacillus) to stabilize intestinal flora

Wish fast recovery!
