Suggest Treatment For Red Circles On Injured Shoulder
My 15 year old daughter is a swimmer with a injured shoulder. Page had a ZmRI which ruled out a torn Librium, diagnosis was arthritis in the CX joint. When she works out she is now getting red circles that appear on her injured shoulder, tender to the touch. Please help
I have studied your case. It can be rotator cuff injury which may need repeat MRI with contrast for confirmation.
Arthritis is very rare at such early age. Medication like methylcobalamine with muscle relaxant and analgesic will reduce pain, you can take them consulting your treating doctor. You may consult physiotherapist for further guidance. He may start TENS ,or ultrasound which is helpful in your case. You may need to take rest for early healing.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care Regards Dr Vaibhav
