Suggest Treatment For Red Swollen Rash On Legs

my husbands right leg is quite swollen w/ a red spotty rash , also if I press on it it leaves a white impression for awhile. This is from a bit below the knee on down. Im in healthcare and I know its not good, but it also can be a number of things. He has high blood pressure and takes Benzeprol (forgive me if wrong spelling) also though hes young it runs in his family he needs both hips repaced. His ortho doctor said he can wait a bit but to keep him posted on when it gets where it really bothers him. For now he gets shots every 2-3 mths in both hips.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that probably your husband may be having cellulitis. Treatment of it is analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. If he has fever then he can take antibiotics. Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovery. He may need further investigation by Venography to exclude venous thrombosis. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
