Suggest Treatment For Redness And Swelling Inside The Mouth

Have just notice after brushing my teeth a cluster of pus infected access areas on the side of my tongue.
Garbled Gly Oxide and the area turned red with apparently blood. rinsed with water and redness went away and the swelling reduced. Any self care recommended until I can visit my PHP?
