HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may need to use diet changes since you are unable to work out because of the pain.

Persons can use diet alone for weight loss if there are physical limitations.

There are different diet plans available, the most common are the low fat/low calorie diet and the low carbohydrate diet.

In the low fat/low calorie the emphasis is on reducing fat intake and using low calorie options of food.
In the low carbohydrate diet, the emphasis is on a reduction in overall use of carbohydrates.

There are meal plans available for either of these online and you can choose the one that best suits you.

I hope this helps
