Can a gynocologist help If I have experienced a repeat UTI? I have had two in the past month with blood in the urine. My family doctor reccommened a urologist, but I cannot get an appointment for a month. That's a long time to wait considering I'm still feeling symptoms. I am drinking TONS of fluids, and doing all of the right things. I'm prone to these types of infections, but these past two have been worse and have not gone away. Any suggestions?
I can understand your concern. As per your history,You have repeated UTI so causes most probably are improper hygiene, cystitis, bladder stone, pelvic inflammatory diseases, STDs. Kindly maintain proper hygiene and do ultrasound abdomen and pelvis, urine routine and urine culture sensitivity. Do you have any history of vaginal discharge? Drink lot of fluids. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying conditions. You can take syp. disodium hydrogen citrate 10 ml. Kindly consult with urologist with report.
Take care.
