Suggest Treatment For Restlessness While Bottle Feeding A Child

Hi Doctor My baby will be 4 months tomorrow and I have been bottle feeding him Nan 1 da past 2 weeks. I noticed he does not have his regular poo and if does poo its a very watery green and smelly poo. He also fusses to drink his feed and drinks less than he s supposed to. When it is time to break wind he vomits sour smelly milk and a lot of it. Basically to say he s just very restless when he s being bottlefed. What do I do as I am returning to work this coming 5th May 2014? Please advise further.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
It appears that the baby has contracted some GIT infection which is very common with bottle feeds.
Get his stool tested for culture and sensitivity. C/S will give the exact bug causing the problem and also the exact drug to treat
Bottle hygiene to be strictly observed.Frequent infections are quite common with bottle.
No stored milk to be given.
Hope the query is answered.
thanks
