Suggest Treatment For Retracted Clitoris After Delivery
My question is about childbirth....after I had my daughter seems my lower anatomy has changed profoundly. It seems the clitoris has retracted into my body and can hardly feel it anymore ..??? I know I had a big baby the doctor should have given me a caesarian and did not!!! so I am certain that is part of the problem is there any remedy for this, although I feel this is probably permanent. It has caused me to have less sensation but it still working thus far . Any suggestions?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I suggest you to get examined by your Gynae. It looks like you might be having some adhesion after you delivered. Have patience & first try to return to your normal shape. Eat healthy and control weight if you have gained. Exercise daily and take all medications prescribed. If you have no problem with the sensation you can try retracting the skin over your clitoris, it can be helpful. Wait & watch if it returns to normal then good else you may have to go for a cosmetic surgery. No worries, it will get fine.
Hope I have answered your query,
take care.
