I have RA and had a bad flare up. The doctor put me on prednisone and humira. I was on prednisone for three weeks and have had three injections of humira two weeks apart. I got some relief from the prednisone, enough to get out of bed but I still can t do much or go anywhere. I developed moon face really bad and have lumps on the inside of my elbows, above my collar bones, the lower part of my throat and the back of my neck. I have a rash on my chest and red freckles on my arms. My mouth is raw. I am 700 miles away from the RA doctor now. I live in Alaska and there s not an RA doctor here where I live. My question is how long before the swellings go down and is the humira causing a lot of the problems? The RA doctor won t answer my questions on the phone. He said I have to fly there for him to see me. thank you, Sherry
