Suggest Treatment For Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hello Doctor, This is Manoj from Karnataka. My mother is suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis from last 12 years and she is being treated by Dr. Dharmanand (Manipal Hospital, Bangalore). Under his treatment she recovered so much from much painful living. But, still she has pain in legs, foot, hands, etc,. Medicine she is taking: Folitrax 10mg (weekly), fol 5, Shelcal ct, and some other. What else other can we do to treat her and to recover her from pain?

I have studied your case with diligence.

I can help you better if you post x ray reports and blood reports to me.

You can take dose of methotrexate.
I will advise dose 7.5mg weekly.
You can start combination consulting your treating doctor

NSAIDs, DMARDs (disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs) are sometimes prescribed in severe cases.
Newer biologics have role in RA.
