Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Sir/mam,
Rib fractures are best treated symptomatically. The muscular covering of the ribs immobilises the fracture well and does not require any further device. You just require analgesics with a local balm with ice application to take care of the pain. Hope this has helped you.
