Suggest Treatment For Ribs Pain Post An Injury

hi, I had spinal fusion surgery in September. nerve damage in left leg- mostly in inner knee area and knee just gives out. I fell 2 weeks ago and hit my upper side (just under bra strap area) knocking the wind out of me for a few minutes. was not bad the first few days, but now hurts especially when I bend forward. I can take deep breaths without more discomfort than usual. was thinking bruised ribs but doesn t fit into that category. any suggestions.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be probably due to minor contusion following the injury. As a first step you can take analgesics like aceclofenac or tramdol for pain relief. If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
