Suggest Treatment For Right Rib Cage Pain

I have been experiencing pain just under the right side of my rib. About 5 weeks ago it started after having a bad cough from a cold, went to a doctor and was put on Celebrex. This seemed to work but am experiencing the same pain again but it has moved more to the side. I have no other symptoms and am in good health.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got muscular pain following overexertion by cough . Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac three times a day after meals). Muscle relaxant such as thiocolchicoside can be added. Vitamin B-complex and Vitamin C supplementation can be used to promote healing. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
