Appendicitis? Can you help?
I think I have appendicitis.My right side really hurts,I've been puking and I have a small fever..I'm 12 and I told my mom but she just gave me medicine. I don't think she's taking me serious....Should I ask to go to a hospital, urgent care, or neither..It's been this way since about 11..Except then It didn't really hurt and It just got worse and worse...What should I do??

Probably, it is not appendicitis or may be chronic appendicitis.
Chronic appendicitis is relatively rare, with just an estimated 1.5 percent of all appendicitis cases being considered chronic appendicitis.
Acute appendicitis is an emergency condition to operate. In that you can't even tolerate the pain and present with continuous vomiting.
If you have doubt, get one scan abdomen done and consult your surgeon, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
