Suggest Treatment For Sensitivity To Cold And Pain
Last week I had several fillings several fillings done on 15,14,13,12,7 and 4. I'm having a lot of pain on my left side I can barely eat it's sensitive to hot/cold and mostly when I chew and the teeth that are sensitive #14,13 and 12 which already had filling before and never have I ever had any pain but the dentist said that there was cavity forming around the tooth so he had to replace it. Now I do not see any fillings on the anterior of the tooth. Any ideas what could have gone wrong ?
As per your complain it seems that due to refilling and recleaning of teeth there has been nerve exposure that are present at the centre of tooth.. As the filling might be placed directly over the nerve, nerve irritation and inflammation can lead to severe pain.. Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis.. You can be advised Root Canal treatment of tooth followed by a course of antibiotics and painkillers.. As of now you can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and do cool compresses over the cheek..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
