Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain , Diarrhea And Vomiting

Recovering from C-diff, done taking vancomycin, but I am still having right side abdomen pain, hurts to touch, temperatures ranging from 99.4 to 100.7, started vomiting and diarrhea, is there something else that could be wrong, do I need to contact my doctor or is this normal?

Hi thanks for your question.
You are using correct drug that is vancomycin.
Vancomycin itself can lead to abdominal pain.
Its dose should be gradually tapered and then taken once every few days called pulsed regimen.
Probiotics also helpful.
For getting complete relief and recovery, drug can take 6 to 7 days.
Dont use any other antibiotic without consulting doctor.
If with this drug no improvement within 3 to 4 days then contact surgeon for it.
Take semisolid diet with enough drinking water daily.
Avoid stress.
Avoid spicy food.avoid smoking.
Thanks.
I hope i have solved your query.
