Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that this can be due to ankle arthritis. This is irregular surface of the ankle joint following trauma. I would recommend you to get MRI of the ankle to confirm this diagnosis. If there is early arthritis then you can get steroid injection in the ankle joint. if there is severe pain then arthroscopy surgery can also be helpful.
I hope this answer will be useful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
