Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain Post Injury
Hello sir i have a back pain injury while i playing the cricket match.the doctor said its a disk problem.i didnot get any relief since 4 year.plz give me a solution to solve it.because my aim is to become a cricketer but my pain is not doing anything to me.
Back pain has plenty of reasons and as you mentioned you play cricket. This might have happened during a game or during some exercise or some injury that went unnoticed. Have you done MRI spine?
If not I would advise you to get an MRI spine done and see a doctor. You have been told that its a disc problem.
I would suggest you consult an orthopaedic surgeon as after seeing MRI reports he will decide the best treatment option for you. He will suggest you some pain relieving medicines.
A physiotherapist can suggest you best exercises for improvement in symptoms as well as physiotherapy sessions with physiotherapists are beneficial.
With your doctor's advice along with adequate rest and proper exercise, you will be able to resume playing the game of cricket.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
