Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 32 year old woman who has suffered with back pain since being pregnant with my daughter. The pain briefly went away after her delivery but came back just as bad when she was 6 months. She is now 3 and I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. The pain is already so bad I can not walk without limping or holding onto furniture to get around the house.I see a chiropractor to relieve the pain but it always returns soon after. I am desperate to stop the pain. Should I have an x ray to check everything is ok as it obviously isn't?

Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain
Hello I would suggest you to go for MRI rather than xray. X-rays can cause harm to fetus but MRI is safe in pregnancy. Apply topical painkiller ointment over back to relieve pain. Consult a physiotherapist. Thanks
