Suggest Treatment For Severe Chest Pain And Arm Pain

My wife if 50 years old she says she is having chest pains that feel like pluracy and for the last couple months has had pain in her left arm muscle related today she saw our doctor and was told to go home and take a nitro pill she is home alone and I am at work 20 miles away is this something she should do or not.

I can understand your wife's situation and problem.
She has been prescribed nitro tablet. Nitroglycerin is given in angina pain (heart related).
So her pain is mostly due to heart disease.
So better to take drugs regularly.
Ask her to avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
Ask her to avoid stress and tension if she had.
Also get done regular follow up with cardiologist.
Get done ecg and 2d echo atleast once a year.
With regular follow up and drugs, prognosis is good in heart patients.
