Suggest Treatment For Severe Cold And Nasal Congestion In A Child

my one month old daughter is having severe cold. her nose is completely blocked. so she is unable to breathe and drink milk. unfortunately, all medical shops are closed. we have otrivin (adult) at home. can we give that otrivin to her? or is there any quick home remedy?

Hi...do not use Otrivin Adult. It is not indicated and licensed in this age group. Actually even oral cold medicines are not licensed in this age group of 1 month. Cough and cold are viral 95% of the times in children.

For nasal block, plain saline nasal drops will do, every 4-6th hourly to relive nasal congestion.
