Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea After Postpartum
Hi, so I m two weeks and two days postpartum, and I ve had pretty severe diarrhea. Yet, I had a couple days where I was constipated. I did have antibiotics during labor for GBS. I do eat alot of carbs and bread. As well as salad and dairy products. When will this go away? It just started again, and I would prefer for it to stop.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern, passing a stool three four time in a day without any associate symptoms like fever, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, dehydration is nothing to worry such passing of stool is self limiting and may not need any specific treatment, just care needed for dehydration, stop taking too much fiber in diet, and avoid spicy and oily food, if you were on antibiotic then such diarrhea could be antibiotic induced, once the course of medicine overs the diarrhea would be no more there, some time probiotic may helps for rapid recovery, hope this information helps.
