Greetings sir...

i am 24 age old male... i have severe dandruff and hairfall problem.... right now iam using dove anti dandruff shampoo and apply oil regularly... i wash my hair every 5 days interval.... please recommend me proper solution to rectify it... my head is almost getting to stage of baldness.... please answer me.... thank you..

Welcome to healthcare magic,
Dandruff is caused by a fungus called Malassezia. This fungus is a normal commensal( residing in the body). Some people will mount a reaction against it causing dandruff. This fungus lives in oily skin.
Use a shampoo containing Ketoconazole 2% and ZPTO 1% thrice a week for a month. After that continue using one a week at least for maintaining the improvement. Do not apply oil on your scalp. You should increase shampooing frequency rom once in five days to alternate days.
If you are having hair loss mainly from the front of scalp and vertex and not over the sides and back of scalp, then it is patterned hair fall seen in Male pattern baldness. There are US FDA approved treatments for it like topical minoxidil 5 % solution and Finasteride tablets. Kindly consult a dermatologist for assessment and to initiate treatment.
