Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches And Palpitations

Hi! I am feeling really terrible lately. I have a major headache and I normally don t get them so it also might not be as bad as it feels. I have been noticing that my heart was beating very fast throughout the day. My body is very weak. I also did not get to sleep though till about 630 AM because I am scared that this is the reason but I took 2 30 mg adderalls last night. I am also on birth control and an antidepressant let me know what you think I got. I think its between the worst cold I ve ever had, flu or the adderall.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are consistent with common causes like a migraine or a tension headache, as a first line management you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.

We have to rule out other causes like hyperthyroidism also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
