Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches, Dizziness And Light Headedness

I ve had a severe headache for over 3 weeks now it a consistent pain an sometime I get a sharp pain it doesn t matter what I do nothing helps I ve try a few diff over the counter meds for headache it doesn t do anything ..also I get very dizzy an lightheaded out of no where does matter what I m doing I feel weak an tired all the time ...Im just trying to figure out what my option are on what going on any help would be appreciated thanks

Hello,

Severe headache with dizziness is associated with many etiologies. There are different types of headaches and treatment is based on the type. It can be related to migraine or raised blood pressure, changes in eye sight.Sometimes OTC medications do not work as it needs thorough examination from a physician to diagnose it and then prescribe medications for relief.

I suggest you consult a neurologist regarding this, a physical examination and medical and personal history is very important. Along with pain medications he will be able to guide you on better management of this with required imaging and blood tests if needed. So do not wait for it to get better on its own or through home remedies. Visit a neurologist as soon as you can.
