Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response

Hi
Thanks for your query
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. As you play football so meniscus injuries are common in football players. So you can get your MRI of knee to rule out meniscus injury. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Quadriceps exercises will be useful for it. Gradually you will improve but if possible MRI of knee should be done.
You can discuss with your doctor about it.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
