Recently I have been awakened in the night by servere leg cramps. They occurred intially in the foot and ankle an have migrated up my legs. Last night i had cramping in both inner thighs. When I get these I must get up and walk them out. This usually works but at times they reoccurr after I return to bed. What could be the cause? I am 78 , no real health problems.
