Suggest Treatment For Severe Leg Cramps

Thanks. I recently was told that my leg cramps at night came from lack of magnesium (that is, loss of electrolytes while working in garden on warm day). So, I ve been taking a magnesium supplement. The cramps basically are gone, except one. In the back of my right thigh, I still get a cramp ... mostly if I crouch down (kneeling mostly) & sometimes at night. Now someone else said that my spleen could be causing this. ??? THANKS AGAIN anyway ... I don t have a way to pay.

Hello,
Electrolyte deficiency may indeed cause muscle cramps. The chance of the cramps due to spleen is very rare. If I were your treating doctor I would advise another blood electrolytes test. I might also require an MRI to rule out other differential diagnosis.
Hope I have answered all your queries. If you have any more questions I would be happy to help. Thank you.
