Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Legs In The Early Morning

I have a 12 year old boy suffering from Rh positive JIA with overlap JDM . His alkaline phospatase is 2000 IU . His SGPT is 176 IU. I dont have facility for serum GGT. He has severe pain both legs only in the early morning hours. He has been on methylpred for past 2 days. He is also getting Vit D3 and oral calcium. How can I help him ?

For pain you cab use tramadol if your doctor agrees ,as the child is very young it will be safe enough.
