Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Knuckle Of The Left Hand

Hello! I’ve been having problems with my left hand for probably nearly 3 years now. Every once in awhile, from the bottom knuckle on my pointer finger in a straight line down to my wrist, it feels like something gets caught on a nerve or something. I have to move it to get it “un-stuck” but it is EXTREMELY painful and usually lasts 3-10 minutes. The slightest movement when this happens typically brings tears. I’ve had 2 family members say it may be carpal tunnel, but it’s my non-dominant hand, and I dont do much with (or really any sort of repetitive movement). It doesn’t happen very often (maybe once a week), but it hurts enough that I’d really like to see if there’s anything I can do about it. Thank you!
