Suggest Treatment For Severe Rectal Pain

I have extreme pain in anal area down through my legs to my feet after stool move. I was thinking it is caused by certain foods that I have eaten. Now I think it is every thing I eat. I think I have swelling in anal area. No blood or diarrhea. Is there anything I can take to help with this unbearable pain? Thank you for any help.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If this is too much pain, then it can be due to constipation and that might have formed the fissure. It may also be inflammatory condition with infection. Local application of Povidone-iodine cream with local anesthetic would help. For confirmation or for right diagnosis clinical examination is must, abscess also need to be ruled out. You can try sitz bath for to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
