Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Bloating , Nausea And Diarrhea

Hi... my daughter is suffering with on/off bloating of the stomach, constant nausea and her stools alternate every few days from being very firm and difficult to pass to watery diorreah to the point where she loses control of herself altogether . She also experiences severe stomach cramps. This has been ongoing since Mid April, she has missed a lot of school and is no longer able to participate in sporting activities. I am still to receive an appointment to get this seen to. Could it be serious and do you think I need to go private for a speedier appointment?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted history related to your Daughter, that she is suffering from bloating , nausea, hard stools sometimes and watery diarrhea sometimes loosing the control. Missed school and unable to participate in school sports activities.
The probable cause can be Fecolith impaction causing hard stools sometimes and the loose watery diarrhea may be effect of intestine's try to push but secreting lots of water into it.
Or the abuse of laxatives if you are giving.

I would advise the following in such a case:
X-ray of the abdomen.
Saline soap enema
opinion and examination by a Doctor ad proper investigations like pediatric colonoscopy and biopsy and other tests as may be necessary.
Further treatment would depend upon the the diagnosis.
