Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain , Diarrhea And Vomiting

I had some left over restaurant food which was not fridge stored and within 48 hours I had a serious stomach pain all over the entire stomach, vomiting 5 times, diarrhea 5 times in 5 hours, no fever. CT scan shows i have two appendix stones, a slightly swollen appendix. But I never had tenderness in right lower quarter abdomen through whole process. My neutrophils number was slight high (89, normal 40-81) when I entered hospital. Others are normal. With two days treatment with Zosyn IV, my symptom is completely gone. Neutrophils number is 81 now. What is your diagnosis, doctor?

Looking at your detailed description it seems to be a case of gut infection or appendicitis
Stone in the appendix can lead to inflammation which is again supported by high neutrophil counts
It may happen that at times pain might not manifest due to position of appendix

In my opinion once active inflammation subsides you should go for elective surgery to remove appendix which may trouble you again .

Meanwhile take soft diet and avoid constipation by taking laxatives or stool softeners
