Suggest Treatment For Severe Upper Back Pain Post A Surgery
have had two back surgery. First one, they removed a bone in my spine. The second surgery they put rods and fusion. These were done over a period of 3 years I have multiple hernia disk, degentive disk disease. Before I had the last surgery I looked into the surgery that only required small incision . This was at Sac. University Hospital. He told me that my back was too damaged to have this surgery, and for it to work, so I had the second surgery. I am 62 years old and have been put on disability, and am not supposed to pick up more than 20#. I suffer from severe lower, and lately upper back pain, to the point of not being able to do any of the things I need and would like to be able to do. I am fearful of ending up in a wheelchair. Just to walk short distances has become unbearable. Don t want this. Any suggestions
Physiotherapy is your best option. There is a machine called IFT. interferential therapy which helps in such pains. Also do back stretching exercises. Look up in the internet. Also take tablet Cipzox or a muscle relaxant when the pain is too much.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
