Suggest Treatment For Sharp Chest Pain

Having sharp pains all night in my left chest area. above my breast. Ive had a stress test 6 months ago and Doc, saw no blockages. What could this be? This time it kept me up most of the night. Could it be gas build up etc?
Maybe stress or anxiety? I have been under a lot of stress since Sept. Husband has been very ill.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, stress and anxiety related chest pain is more likely in your case.
But better to rule out cardiac chest pain first.
So get done ecg and 2d echo.
If both these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Once your stress is controlled, your gaseous bloating will also be controlled.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
