Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Groin Area After An External Injury

Hi, I had an inguinal hernia surgery a couple of years ago and last week, when I was playing football a friend of mine kicked the ball towards my groin so powerfully that it caused me a lot of pain - nagging and sharp pain. Is it possible that the mesh which sustains all abdominal-cavity burst open? I'm feeling little discomfort while working out.
