Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Rectum Followed By Bleeding

I havr been taking accutane for abouy 5 months. About a month or 2 ago, I started having trouble when going to the bathroom. It hurts so bad, like a sharp knife in my rectum. And a little bleeding. Bright red blood. I dont have any stomache pains or anything else. Its to the point where I dread having to go because it hurts so bad. I called my doctors office, but have not received a call yet. But Is this normal?

Hello,

You may be suffering from anal fissure it may be due to your dietary habits or due to isotretinoin induced fissure.
Avoid spicy food, eat high fibre diet and drink plenty of water.

Use anobliss cream for local application. Use syrp lactulose.

If symptoms not improved please consult your surgeon he will examine locally and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
