This pain just started today. If I lean back it really hurts. It is pain around mu right shoulder blade. I am just getting over calcific tendonitis of the right shoulder. I have to go back to my orthopedic Dr on Thurs. But I was just wondering if I need to know if I need to go back before.

Dear- calcific tendonitis is a condition that can get better but unfortunately does not go away completely. It can radiates to the arm and to the back. You can try an anti-inflammatory as ibuprofen, heating pad 15 min a day for 3 times a day for 7 days to relieve the pain. Sometimes, local analgesic cream will help too. If it doesn't get better , you will need to see the orthopedic.
I hope my advise will be helpful
