I have silent GERD. Ulcers in esophogus. Biopsy showed benign. I lowered my caffeine intake. But can t completely cut out alcohol (3 glasses a month), chocolate, or tomatoes. I use baking soda and Tums for relief and a Zantac once in awhile. How do I know if there is more damage occurring?
