Suggest Treatment For Sinus Pressure And Inflamed Nasal Septum
I have a noticeably inflamed nasal septum in the right nostril. It appears red. I have some occasional sinus pressure but no pain on the same side under the eye and in the nose where there is inflammation. No headaches, no fever, no nasal discharge, sneezing or coughing. The swelling was, however, proceeded by a bout of allergy or sinus issues that involved excessive sneezing and fatigue. I am currently taking OTC allergy meds and using home remedies (which I have done for 3 weeks unsuccessfully). What can I do to reduce the inflammation and prevent reoccurrence?
If you have not tried a nasal steroid like Flonase, I would try that first. Other OTC products like afrin might be good for a few days, but then are no longer effective.
