Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have slight swelling in right foot/ankle. About ten months now. Went to docs. Got nowhere. Put on blood pressure meds. Seemed to have helped for a while. Not so much lately. Can feel discomfort in upper leg from time to time also. Had extensive blood work done with doctors. All good. Wondering if the hernia operation I had on that side could be the root of the problem. Had the operation 10 months prior to leg swelling. Much pain and discomfort in the hernia area to this day. Some days better than others. Had mesh put in. Are there lymph nodes in/near the area of hernia that could have been pinched to cause selling in leg?
