As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Bacterial throat infection also known as Strep throat and the symptoms of throat pain that is Pharyngitis along with inflamed tonsils that is Tonsillitis seems to be due to it.. If viral infection is ruled out it seems that there is secondary bacterial infection along with viral.. White pustules are pus pockets that further confirms towards bacterial infection.. For confirmation consult an Otolaryngologist or an ENT expert and get evaluated.. He can do investigations like Throat swab culture can help in diagnosis.. You can be advised: -Antibiotics like Augmentin OR Azithromycin to resolve the infection.. -Anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen can be taken to relive pain. -----Doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and using a humidifier in your room can be very much relieving. -You can also suck throat lozenges to soothe the throat.. -Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.. -Gargle with antiseptic solution like few drops of betadine in water.. -Chew Vitamin C pellets to boost up the immunity.. -Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
