Hello, I got a sore throat about four or so days ago. I started to use Hals cough drops, but changed to Ricola the next day because Hals wasn t very helpful. My throat doesn t hurt anymore, but on the third day of my sore throat, I began to get sores on my tongue (red bumps). It s not the first time I ve gotten them after using cough drops, but these are bigger and more painful. The ones on the tip of my tongue are smaller, and the ones on the back are much bigger, but both cause pain. The sores on my tongue have caused eating most food to become a chore. I m sure the sores are from the cough drops, but how can I make them go away or at least be less painful?
