Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Swollen Tonsils

I had a sore throat for about a week. Tonsils both swollen then moved to just the left side, now day 5 and I feel a lump in the palate upper left side about the size of a dime. Throat is still sore to swallow, should I see a physician for a possible infection and antibiotics... Age 50. Female just feeling run down

Welcome to Healthcare magic...
Don't worry it will resolve...I recommend a course of antibiotics..tab amoxicillin with clavulinic acid for 5 days..tab paracetamol 500mg for pain relief...avoid refrigerated foods...wish you speedy recovery...
