Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Body Ache And Fever

Hi, I m suffering from a virus of some sort per my doctor. My symtoms started out of nowhere this past Sunday. Very sore throat, body aches fever of 1o2.3 off and on up till yesterday.I ve been using Advil cold and sinus, and IBpropean and a saline solution in my nettie pot. I just can seem to get my sinuses to let go. My dr. gave me an antibiotic to start on Thurs if things don t improve. can you make any suggestions. Thank you. Mary Wittman

The advil cold and sinus should contain a decongestant that would be helpful.

You may want to add otrivine as a topical decongestant for further relief. A warm (not hot) compress to the face may also help with drainage as well.
